What is Acupuncture?

The use of extremely thin, pre-sterilized, disposable needles on specific areas of the body. Because the needles are so fine, the procedure is virtually painless. The needles stimulate what the Chinese call Qi (chee). The manipulation of this Qi benefits health and aids in the healing of disease. Acupuncture has no side effects and treats the cause as well as the symptoms Acupuncture is endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO), FDA and National Institute of Health.

The acupuncture that is performed is based on tradition, thousands of years old and still effective today.

The experience is one of relaxation and healing.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

A highly refined form of herbal therapy dating back thousands of years. Formulas include specific combinations of substances customized for your individual condition. Herbs may be taken as a tea, tablet or extract. We use many different types of herbal formulas. We use both American and Chinese companies. Although we use pills, capsules, and tinctures, we also use powders, which allow us to mix specific quantities of specific formulas and herbs to create a specific formula for your condition.
